Problem solved: in the end used Sense 2.5 to solve the problem.

Previously,

Get in car, go to comm manager, turn bluetooth on, cancel comm manager, go to start menu, start audiobooks and drive to work in audio bliss.

After installation of King's Sense Rom with CHT 1.8.5 installed and quicklinks for bluetooth toggle and audiobooks on home tab,

Get in car, from home screen, toggle bluetooth and start audiobooks, drive to work 1 minute earlier in audio bliss.

Might not seem like a big thing, but it makes my life easier to be able to do this with the least amount of effort as possible.

Windows mobile is a great operating system, but it has its quirks...

One of those quirks is that everyday tasks are sometimes hidden away in submenus...

e.g. to turn on bluetooth you have to go to comm manager, which under the stock rom meant going into the start menu/settings/connections or something similar (or clicking on the signal icon in the top taskbar and clicking comm manager) and then turning on bluetooth. It is not difficult but tedious.

This exe is an executable file which when run automatically turns on bluetooth to be paired with bluetooth headset or car audio. For me it just saves me a couple of seconds each morning.
