Cant enable "Flash light for 'time limit'" for New Text Message and other alerts

I have the LG Expo and I downloaded Dark's Sound and Notification Restore.cab and It did restore many different options to set ringtons/vibrate... for many different alerts. But i cant tell the phone to enable that little green light when i recieve a new txt/mms/E-mail... Y? Its grayed out, i cant select the check off box. I liked this feature on a friends black berry. If you miss a txt/whatever, that little green light on the top/left corner of the phone will flash ever couple seconds... If theres some option Im not selection coule someone tell me? Or is there an update to this CAB?

I have had the Expo since March of this year. From using it for the last 6,7monts and dropping it a couple times, it was showing signs of warring out. I pay the insurence premium for my phone so i fugured what the hell, i'll just get a new one. With my old phone I didn't (or atleast cant remember how i fixed it) have this problem. The option wasnt grayed out, and i could check it. With my new phone, i can't, and IDK y....

Im not sure if this new phone it a brand new phone, refurbished, or more or less new, just the previous owner didnt want it. It looks brand new... Anyways, Ya i did do a soft reset, i did re-install the Cab multiple times. Uninstall... It still wont let me click on it.
I did download a Cab. that i think does alot of things. "EITweakerN35.cab", but im kinda afraid of using it. I just want that option back, i dont really care to make the phone alot different. IDk that if by using it, and it does something that i dont like and or screws up somethen, that it could be irreversible. Is there some way I can just add that option myself? Or would it be kinda complicated...?
