I lost my 3.5mm adapter last week in a snow storm. So now I've been looking for a replacement ever since. I tried to use the one that was made by samsung for my mythic phone, but no dice; the plug fitted perfectly, but no sound and the radio didn't recognize it. Tomorrow I'm going to try LG's accesories purchase phone line, since the adapter wasn't listed on the web site. I have an adapter manufacture by Mobiman coming in this weekend, not sure that will work either. I love my earphone, and I really want the original adapter, please, is any one out there know where I can get a replacement?

This looks rather pathetic since I'm replying myself. But since nobody reply to my request, I'll save every one the trouble, and let who ever is reading this know that I've found my replacement adapter. Mobiman adapter worked like a charm. It does exactly the same things that LG OEM adapter does. It works as an antenna, hands free device, and 3.5mm adapter. Thank god I found a replacement, because LG accessories sales department was no help. What you don't see on their web site means they don't have it, so don't even bother to call them to think they may just forget to list the item on their web site. I just don't understand why LG don't make the adapter as a for sale accessory. I mean you can get everything else like the data cable and the travel charger. Also, for those of you that are looking for TV/AV out cable for the expo, I remember this from the Samsung Mythic forum, http://www.meritline.com/hybrid-usb-dongle-tv-stick-geniatech-u6012---p-35677.aspx
The cable uses the mini USB connector, but it doesn't mean that it'll work with Expo. At least it's worth a try. It's much easier than those of you that are taking the adapter apart and soldering the wires.

So they finally made it to be where the wiring is right. I buy these things ( adapters) only to find that the wiring for the ground and audio is on a different contact. I gave up on that. Nice find and thanks for the review of it that it works. You know I will this thing maybe many.

Glade to contribute to this forum. But wait a minute, so which did you buy? The 3.5mm Adapter or the AV/TV out adapter?

You had to excuse me, I didn't read your posting carefully the first time. Obviously you're talking about the 3.5mm adapter. I'm happy that I can share my finding with other people in need of the replacement. It was so frustrating to not be able to use the earphones with the phone, and can't by the OEM replacement from the manufacture. I know that if I have to wait a year before I can get a replacement, I'll go crazy. Since the adapter is inexpensive, I went ahead and got an extra one. Now I have one for the car and one for the home, lessen the chance that I'll loose it again.

I found the adapter and the earphone that I lost in the snow storm. They were trapped under a foot of packed snow for about a month. I must dropped them when I gotten out of my car that night during the storm. All I had to do was wait for the snow to melt before I can find them. They were in a sorry state when I found them, both the adapter and the earphone were crushed by my car tires. However, the earphone still works fine. Those were some tough metal alloy made by Maximo earphone. On the other hand, the adapter was destroyed. The part where earphone goes in were crushed. Oh well, at least I solved the mystery of my missing adapter and the earphone.
