Hi Txtaken9, I wish I could offer you some help with the Internet connection problem, That query should maybe posted here
Dragonstorm Issues threadAbout the Sim card an not being able to read it, Do you mean contacts you had stored on it, an maybe saved sms messages?
About the finger print scanner lock controls, they can still be accessed through, /Start menu/ LG Menu/Phone settings/Lock an then enable it in there if you wish to use it. As well as its fine motor skills like sensitivity an speed.
That menu an its settings had to be left in place just for things like that, sadly.
(LG did not do a very good job with their skin an add ons for this phone an kind of turned their back on it)
If you go to, Start menu/settings/home an click to the next page, there is how you control if basic today items are used or Titanium which is called Windows default.
This gui is what most are using and is pretty decent, so if you use it, an are viewing the today screen if you slide the clock to the center position, you will notice that at the bottom of the screen a button changes to show Comm Mgr., click it an your Wifi, BT an Phone on an off settings are there in.
Alternately you can also just click on the icon bar where your signal an battery are shown an a pop down menu should open an it also has a link to the wireless manager.
Curious, If you click that drop down bar an then click the icon of a phone symbol over a signal meter, what does it tell you, like does it show (I don;t know if your on AT&T or Telus) your carrier an to the right of it, time connected? This is just for me to know if, your phone is connected to your carrier or not.
Lastly, Under start menu, you will find Marketplace, which has a nice tool called "Home Screen Customizer"
This tool will allow you to control some of the things that are shown on the today screen when using Titanium.
It also can add a Weather panel, an apps panel for quick access, though it only will show 4 apps an recent apps, and a couple other things as well.
I use it on mine an it makes Titanium livable for me.
Anyways, I hope this helps some.
