Hey everyone, I was over on our friend LG' website and I saw the App Store and thought since I have a Android phone right now I may as well try it out, but when I got their and tried to sign up I saw our phone hiding in that list... And guess what? LG App store is for Windows Mobile to.

They even got a video how to download the LG App store, and download apps from it!
http://ca.lgapplication.com/web.support.RetrievePhoneModelTutorial.dev#none

Make sure that LG Application Store app is selected for the right video.

Now again, my phone is gone right now, but if anyone else could try this on their phone and tell me how it is that would be great!

Hope you all enjoy it Smiley

Interesting find Eric, way to go.

I went through the hoops an dances an the conclusion it tells me, as a Telus user, it's coming soon.

Says, all apps are free, higher level functionality based upon how many points you have with them.

I tried it through Opera at first an it didn't want to list any places in N/A, then tried through PIE an its address is,
http://ca.lgapplication.com

I registered an tried to download it that way an it still says, coming soon.

Still, this is a nice bonus if it comes about by LG, some interesting games an apps in there.

Cookies for you dude! Wink

Thank you very much for testing this out for me Smiley and also for the cookies hahaaa

Im curious did you try sending a link to download the CAB file? Or did that not work as well?

I hope its not something that LG or TELUS forgotten about. Although I have noticed it up and running when I tried it on the LG Shine Plus...

Hope LG takes hold of this, and I hope the points system makes more sense later on.

It wouldn't let me download anything to install.

It just redirects to a ca page, if I use Opera, it goes international with no N/A options.

Worth watching for when it opens for us.

Aww. Okay then.

I really appreciate you testing this out for me and the community. I really hope it IS something that TELUS and LG follow through with, it really would be a awesome contribution for this phone and its users.

The site was down for me yesturday due to maintmence. Today there is no option for USA and the canada/english link says, only LG models are supported, I guess it isn't playing nice with Dark's ROM.

Try using a different browser. WR said that Opera didn't work for him so maybe try some other browser just to see.

Thats really odd...Mind you the only two people to try it out so far have been me and WR so were both Canadian and on TELUS.....might be just Canada but worth the time to keep looking.
