Oh that's pretty lame of V. That droid was pretty nice but verizon is just too expensive. At first I was getting really frustrated with the Expo but now that I've figured the system out a bit I'm liking it more and more. This is my first WM phone so it's gonna take a little time.. lol

I'm really concerned about my battery. I had a full charge at 7am and then it went all the way down to 30% by 4pm. I had been using it a good bit and I didn't have any power saving settings in place but I'll tinker with it to see what happens. I kno there is another thread on this forum about it. I"ll post there later.

I'm very glad that my phone came in because I really didn't want to go to verizon. Driod or no Driod (but the driod is a pretty sick device...). Anyways.. AT&T has gained a new customer and this forum has gotten another member!

i certainly don't want too. if at all possibe i'd love to keep this phone. AND have an android device to play with. i recently got my x1 out and used HARET to boot android 2.1 ... it's not smooth to say the least. but it's fun to play with. about a week later i held my friends new nexus one in my hand.. wow. you can really feel what a snapdragon can do when it's not being bogged down. when you watch live wallpapers move to the beat of the track playing on your device while simultaneously surfing the web and sending txts.. holy cow..

now if that same speed could be seen on my expo.. i'd be all for keepin it.

i love my physical keyboard. and def don't wanna let it go...

i'm willing to stick it out a few more months and see what fruits the custom rom dev can come up with

at the same time. the longer i wait. the less i'll be able to sell this phone for..

idk.. i've never sold a phone.. i've always kept it despite what flaws it may have till it breaks or it's been so long i feel like i'm using ancient hardware..

it'd be superextra special fantastic if we could andriod ported. or at the very very very least a super fast 6.5.x rom ... i wanna see what this cpu can do damnit!

Toys lol

Hey, Do you find alot of similarity in between your older X1 an the Expo/IQ?

When we get a clean 6.5.3 on this phone, it will be a night an day difference, entirely imo, though I believe that to be true for us all, that use it that is.

With that said, I don't see any real bog downs on the phone now as I have mine tweaked, I still have older qualcomms an the difference is best measured in boot up time imo, 33 seconds versus 1:41 for my older ones.

Don't sell your phone, its like selling a Pet, can't handle it? Call the phone whisperer lol.

Just kidding, You got to do, what feels right to you for your uses an things, if its move it out, do it, if its, hang on and see where things go, do that instead.

Though we'd hate to lose a fellow as smart as us in owning this phone, so do hang an ride it man. Wink

there are many similarities . they both have keyboards. almost the same screen size *expo's a lil bigger* but much nicer in that it's not recessed below the edge of the phone case.. makes getting the tiny icons in the corner's a lot easier.. my keybaord on the expo is MUUUCH nicer than the x1 mainly because it works... i never had any problems getting used to x1's keys.. that is until they started repeating letters or not displaying at all... there's a tut on tearing it open and cleaning the keypad below the keyboard... but i wasn't about to do that ... until i got my new phone... so i may still go back and tear it apart.. not really much more i can do to fuck it up... about a month after i got my expo my x1 took it's real first drop in the year+ i'd had it.. and cracked the case... *a big problem with x1's* so i guess i was lucky i already had a new phone when that happend... i crazy glued it back together.. and ya know.. if i don't tell ya it's there. you'd probly never know..  i'm truly excited to see what the expo can do graphics wise... coreplayer does utilize HW acceleration... i just want eyecandy... and speed...

i'm sick of titanium... every time i get used to it.. i realize how fuggin ugly it is..
spb is ok... idk.. i just want more... seeing live wallpapers has me spoiled.. like i said earlier i'm material.. i guess....

my expo does EVERYTHING *almost* i could ever want a phone to do and more

no 3.5mm jack was a realllly big bummer for me.. i love my bt headset and it works great... but sometimes i really enjoy the sound comin over my earbuds.. ya know... the ones i payed an arm and a leg for! and can't use without pluggin in LG's proprietery USB connector... i really hate that thing.. and that stupid lil flap thing that covers it.. why not make it something standard that everyone else is already using so we don't have to go bUY your stupid cable! grr... ok it's obvious im ranting at this point

/end rant

i will stick it out. for better or worse. till death... ok mayb not that long.. Cheesy

I found the eXpo is available again through AT&T. I just bought the projector from them and figured I'd see if they had the eXpo available and i found it. However, just like with the projector you have to be a premier business customer to purchase it.

looks like they dropped the price on amazonwireless, when I checked it a month or so ago it was 99.99 for new contract and 149.99 for existing contract. now it's 0.01 for new contract and 49.99 for existing contract.

Anyone willing to sell LG eXpo and send it to Europe?
Some signs of use do not matter, but it has to be without problems and with a warranty card or proof of purchase for a possible reclamation (with the original seller, not with you Smiley ).
