Tried to test out the FM app but it says "No suitable antenna could be found".  I thought this device had an FM antenna?  If not, then why did they put an app on the phone? If so, how do i get this to work?  Thanks everyone.

The headset that came in the box with your phone is the FM antenna. It uses the casing of the wire as the antenna. There is a registry edit to make your radio work without said wire plugged in but your reception will be beyond horrible and most likely pick up 0 stations.

So just pop in the headset youll be good to go.

ah, thanks.  what a terrible implemention.  I use a blue tooth headset because the headphones that came with it are too big for my ears - they hurt.  Dang.

Because the headset that came with the phone is attached to an adapter you can plugin any headphones you want to use.

Cant plug in your bluetooth =P
And you cant(that ive found) tell your phone to play its sound threw a different output then the headset when the headset adapter is plugged in. Even if no headphones are plugged in, cant get the phone to play out of the speaker. Kinda sucks cant listen to the radio on speaker..

What do you mean?  Attatched to an adapter?  My headphones plug straight into the phone.  This to me is the unforgivable sin for phones.  To put out a product that eliminates 80% of the headsets out there.  After purchasing my expo, i have decided that if the phone i am intersted does not have a standard headphone jack (for PC, fitness equipment, ipods), i will not buy the phone.

Edit:  OK, I just found the headset and now understand how this works.  This should work though I dont love the implemention.  But I get it now.

I'm willing to bet that if we wanted to we could hook up one of those external speakers to the adapter rather than using headsets for those that want to hear the radio through a speaker.

Brilliant!

I bet your right, now we need someone with small set of laptop speakers or the like with a 3.5 jack to try it out.

I have used my expo and a 3.5 jack/RCA adapter to plug into my tv and stereo.  Works like a charm.... Wink
