On WM the ringtone size limit is set to 300k, but there is an easy fix for this. There is a simple reg edit that will take care of this. Attached is a cab that will change the limit to 25 MB. That is a bit excessive, but this will ensure that you don't have to worry about the file size. This was something that was originally posted for the blackjack and was later posted on LG-Incite.com so I'm not sure who the author of the cab is. If you prefer to edit the reg itself then go to:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER>ControlPanel>Sounds and change the value of FileSizeLimit.

lol i think maybe im asleep or something.

I looked into this key in stock form, on my IQ, it was there an had a value of (1) in place, ok i thought, wonder what my touch with wm 6.5.3 on it has.
So i take a look, no key at all..hmmm, so i added your cab to the mix(on the Touch), an checked key again, now its there an its value (26214400).

Hmm, this is, if i looking at this right 25gb or 2.5gb of file size. as it stands 26214400 divided by 1024= 25600 (25mb).

I love playing in the reg, so this value caught me off guard lol.

But thats right isnt it, 25gb or 2.5gb, it should be 25600 as the value set for 25mb, or just remove the key?

Its not a problem i don't think, just thought i'd throw it out there to play with some.

Peace

If you're new to WinMo, a better solution is just to use Tweaker for now, I posted a link in your other thread, or click the link in one of the signatures above. When you feel ready to get into the registry, you'll need a registry editor. A lot of members like CERegEdit. Installs on your PC and works over the data cable. I keep some simple reg tools on my memory card. You can find them here:

You don't need to remove .net 2.0, in fact, you can't.
