I have changed brightness settings and didn't help. Mine is terrible trying to navigate the phone in those conditions. Wondered if there was a tweak on that or something. I'm currently using Livven's Simple Gloss,  Black -  http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=578468 2) A screen protector with more of a matte finish than a gloss one - less reflection.
