Did you change your data settings from ATT's MediaNet to whatever system T-mob uses?

Start Menu>Settings>Connections>Connections>Advanced

Dunno about T-mob's settings, though I'm sure Google could help you.

NV,

I am not sure, but last time I checked you should be able to use T Mobiles 3G wireless service with the Expo. I think it runs on the UMTS 1900MHz frequency, which the phone supports.

However, to get it to work you need to do some additional things:

1) You have to have a data plan with T Mobile

2) You need to change the connection settings on your expo to connect to the T Mobile internet apn

If you have done these things your phone should connect to the T Mobile service using your plan data.

If you need help to change connection settings check google. There are many tutorials out there for windows mobile beginners.

As for myself I use my expo on Rogers network in Canada without any problems. As a side note: there are a few internal settings on the phone which use AT&Ts media net internet settings by default (i.e. the AGPS).
To deal with this you have two options:

1) Search the registry and change the default values to the T Mobile values you will be putting in.

2) Edit the MEdia Net settings to T Mobiles and leaving the Media Net name as a placeholder.

If you are new to windows mobile go with option 2. You will need to search this forum for a CAB program installation file called "Enable Media Net Settings" or something like it.

Here's the link to where the "Enable MEdiaNet Settings" cab was posted.

It's also integrated into Woodhole's Tweaker - link to that is in my signature.

I think it was. NVonShats has been making other post such as getting .net 3.5 and I think he mentioned that he got things going somewhere on the forum.
