Guys for some reason every so often when I open skyfire my phone locks up.  The only was I can get it to start working again is pulling the bat.  I was wondering is there another way to do a quick soft reset without having to pull the back cover off.  I have a plactic protector that is a pain to take off.

Hi Kev Wink

There is sof reset button just above the battery itself when you take the battery cover off.

Its small, but look just above the battery, hit it to reset.

Edit, sorry i seen you have a cover over the door, after reading it properly, with that said, sorry i don't myself.

Maybe someone else may, but i don't think there is, shy of taking the cover off.

I have a few cabs that should do that at my home computer...I'll post some after i get home and test them on the eXpo.
I did also find this:

http://mytd2.blogspot.com/2009/08/poweroptions-v12-neustartrunterfahrenru.html

Problem is its not in English and some of the options do not work..but the reset will work (green button with arrows pointing in both directions...tested).  I'm sure there is a better option and i may have a better cab at home for this.

Well on testing that app further i found hitting the blue lightbulb button blanks your screen and I had to softreset to see it again..so may not want to do that..I thought it was just going to dim the backlight not turn it off all the way.

Here is a very simple small old reset app:

PHMSoftReset.CAB

I dont think this was ever a pay for app..if it was mods please remove the link

But it will work without a hitch only the icon needs updating to look better.

I have the same issue from time to time and the problem is that once it locks your phone you can't actually get to anything else. Not even a reset program. One thing I've been able to do though is just hold down the power button. Sometimes it will unfreeze the phone, and sometimes it just resets it.
