If you prefer the stylus attached to the corner, I highly recommend a vertical form factor for your case choice. That way, the stylus can dangle alongside it without being too obvious.

With a horizontal one, the stylus dangles lower than the phone, which makes for all kinds of annoyance.

If you don't like the attached stylus, I wonder if it could be a good idea to get a case that has a stylus holder, or one that you could attach the stylus to, so the phone could be just by itself, as a phone should be.
