Hello all! I have had my expo for a few months now, just received the projector in the mail a few days ago. I remote desktop, play movies, torrent, pretty much do everything on it, and I have this forum to thank for a lot of it! The next project I will be trying tonight will be getting a rocketfish bluetooth keyboard mouse combo to it.

I have read in another thread about blueinput being used which I will be trying. Has anyone had success with this? Has anyone had success with keyboard and mouse at the same time?

Has anyone had success with a ps3 controller or wiimote? I would think these are things that could easily be utilized given the capability of the phone, and was definitely curious about these, myself! Thanks in advance and look forward to hearing from any of you.

Okay, so obviously keyboards are not an issue. What I've gathered from this whole experience is we have the Widcomm bluetooth stack which sucks, and we need the microsoft bluetooth stack in order for bluemouse/blueinput to work. Once we change the crappy widcomm bluetooth stack to MS bluetooth stack, all you have to do is install bluemouse/blueinput, and it works fine.

Anyone have any info on how to switch? I've done research and all signs point to "it's too hard" or something along those lines.

Any of you smart devs got anything? Smiley Thanks in advance!

I actually have the same keyboard and mouse combo.  I was able to get the mouse to connect to my phone but then it complained that it didn't offer any services that the phone could use.

As for the PS3 controller, you may be able to get it to work using CobaltController http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=689984.  I haven't tried it yet myself.

I was thinking about asking him if it would be possible to whip up bluetooth mouse support.

Ya, I suspect any standard Bluetooth keyboard should work.  It's the mouse that I would really like to get working.

Yeah, my point exactly. Keyboards aren't an issue - easypeasylemonsqueezy. I even got a ps3 controller working with cobaltcontroller, works great! But still no mouse pointer is available, just scrolling over like a keyboard left left left right right down down etc....

Still waiting on a mouse prog.

Just to be clear, using the newest version of cobalt controller, I have gotten both a wiimote and a ps3 controller to work without a problem. Cobaltikus (the guy that makes the prog) will be having analog stick support soon, too! Smiley

The only issue here is one not related remotely to the communication between phone/controller, but phone/FpseCE. Only two buttons work even on the keyboard. Anyone have any ideas?

UPDATE!!!! Grin Grin Grin Grin

I have successfully played 5 different psx games (crash bandicoot 1, 2, 3, castlevania sotn, and silent bomber) on my lg expo (using FPSECE). Used a ps3 controller (cobalt controller) and mapped the correct buttons inside fpsece. It works projected flawlessly. Saving works and everything. I cannot tell you how happy I am!! Smiley

Unfortunately, I don't have much time to help walk through or anything, but I wanted everyone to know here that it IS possible because I did it today. Perfect for people like me that travel a lot and live that "hurry up and wait" lifestyle. Smiley Good luck!!

Good to hear you got it going. Add the projector and some bluetooth speakers and you got a party.  Grin

Yeah dude. I was on a business trip and did midnight maintenance. After shutting all light sources (which can prove to be tricky in a new holiday inn express), crashing around 4am and confirming late checkout, once I woke up at noon I rolled over, turned on my bluetooth, then controller, slid out the lense of the projector, and proceeded to play Castlevania: SOTN about 6ft wide on the wall until I finally had to get up. Oh yeah, then I made some phone calls on it.

BOOM!
