Did you try Dark's paperclip trick to calibrate the screen?

I use a wooden toothpick myself an use it when I calibrate the screen, makes a pretty big difference to me.

I've had my IQ since December and have managed to keep the stylus with me so far.  Truthfully, I'm surprised I still have it, but I keep the phone in a Roots case which also holds the stylus and sd cards.  I'm a carpenter, so I need the extra protection for the phone, and I just wear the headphones with VoiceCommand telling me what's going on.  I do wish the headphone button would activate VoiceCommand so I'd never have to take the phone out of the pouch while working.  Anyone working on that?

Cheers

I never used the stylus on my Incite, and won't use it on my eXpo when it gets here in a couple days. Fingers all the time!

I love the spirit here Cheesy

Having had my IQ since Dec, I have found very rarely a stylus was needed.
There are times when working with files though, like renaming them and such using a file explorer that a stylus comes in handy, but thats about it.

With Darks new Roms, and the newer Windows with the start bar at the bottom of the screen, its a very finger friendly Windows OS for things like setting alarms and such, its a big improvement.

Just thought I'd toss this out there. Wink

Peace

Fingertip, fingernail and sometimes even a knuckle are the only things I've used since the first month I got my eXpo.

I exclusively use a stylus but not that cheapy dangling thing that came with it. I purchased a 4-in-1 pen stylus and I love it. It also solves my problem of never having a pen handy when I need it.

After researching smartphones for months, I specifically chose the Expo due to the screen.  I have acrylic nails and they don't work very well on many phones however my last phone was the Vu so I knew the Expo would work great with my nails..  The stylus was in the way (dropped the phone 3 times when it was attached  Cry

Hi brenjes, Welcome to the forums... Smiley

Yes, I don't think you'll find much love directed toward the stylus they included with our phones, not much at all lol.

I see newest LG Fathom, has a stylus built in and draws out from the side instead on the top or bottom on HTC stylus equipped phones.(Think they got a few complaints?)

Though, myself, I rarely need it with the newer more finger-friendly LG Roms we have here and have managed to live without it altogether.

Anyhow, enjoy your new phone...

Peace

At first I hated the "eyeliner", but since then I've done a complete 180.

Now I feel anxiety whenever the phone/cap and stylus become separated over large distances.

My biggest issue with the stylus was how it dangled while using the phone by my head, but now that I use a BT headset more frequently, it's ok now. The "charm bracelet" concept sort of works for a little mobile computer as long as you don't have to hold it up to your head.

I find it to be fairly frictionless, unlike my last phone which got scratched up by its stock stylus. I still prefer the teflon-tipped solid stainless steel palm pilot stylus I was lucky enough to find one day, but I won't let that leave the house.

A hidden stylus like other phones have would be the best, though.

Personally, I like how LG fit the stylus on the Fathom... it slides in from the side, is only a hair shorter then width of phone an I believe collapses.

I realize this is an older topic, but wanted to add my 2 cents for free.  With Darks ROM (based on 6.5.3), I no longer feel the anxiety of not having the stylus while traveling.  I don't like the stylus being seperate from the device (had a Tilt previously) and refused to carry it.  Thanks to Dark, this is no longer an issue.
