The MW600 comprises a bluetooth pendant dongle about the size of an AA battery with a 3.5mm headphone jack. Sony Ericsson also supplies a reasonable quality set of 3.5mm headphones with the pendant and a micro usb wall charger.

The review was performed using a LG eXpo and the supplied SE headphones after approximately 24 hours of use (the review will be updated as time goes by).

Price: Approx. $100CA

Availability: I found it at a Rogers Plus store in Northern Ontario.

Installation: Easy. Both the expo and MW600 found each other easily and both headset and a2dp profiles were automatically connected.

Stereo Sound: Overall reasonable. Sounded a little tinny at times. Some background buzz while pulling heavy data over a wifi network. I found that the sound clipped slightly while some data applications ran in background. However, not really enough to be a major nuisance.

Based on experience so far, for convenience sake I would prefer to use the MW600 to listen to music rather than the wired headset.

Headset performance: Good. Received calls were reasonably clear and callers on the other end reported satisfactory results. The MW600 supports voice commands which is a fantastic feature.

VOIP: So far, the MW600 has not performed well during VOIP tests. During a VOIP call the microphone output is very low. This seems to be a problem with some other bluetooth headsets as well. Until I can work out how to fix it, I would not recommend the MW600 for VOIP calls.

Battery Life: I have used it for about 2 hours straight and had about half the battery icon when finished. Will update this as time goes on.

Overall: So far, really enjoying the convenience of bluetooth earphones for listening to music. The major benfit of the MW600 compared to other pendants is that any 3.5mm earphones can be used.

Update so far...

Performance wise the battery life of the headset has been terrific. About 8 hours solid streaming music and calls and the battery meter on the MW600 only shows half empty. The expo doesnt far so well and requires charging during the 8 hours, but because its bluetooth i can charge and still listen to music.

Still very happy with sound quality out of the box. I havent edited any expo registry entries to improve sound quality yet and still find the sound reasonable. One small issue so far is that streamed music tends to pause for 1 to 2 seconds rarely. It becomes more frequent when the wifi radio is switched on. Not sure is this is an issue with the bluetooth connection buffer settings on the expo or not.

So far i have used it for voice calls, voice commands, streaming music to my sennheiser earphones, my car (using a 3.5mm jack male to male cord), my stereo (using a 3.5mm jack to RCA audio) and even a TV.

Works really well inputing to the car. Voice commands have become second nature now. Voice command will let you play by artist or album and there are skip and pause buttons on the MW600 itself. I never have to touch the phone or take my eyes off the road. Taking calls in the car is great too. The call quality is good and so far no callers have complained about an echo coming from the car speakers.

All in all very happy. At this point my thoughts are I will be keeping the MW600 even when my expo has been put away in favour of the next phone upgrade.
