Cookies are something that you give a user as a reward for something they have done. Cookies can also be taken away to smite users for bad thing that they do. By taking a cookie from someone else you do not receive their cookie they simply lose it.

Thanks WR. Cookies was a new concept for me too when I joined the Incite forum. I needed it explained to me the first time too. I hope this helps to clarify things for everyone.

No, you should be able to give more then one to the same person... Like Woody, He keeps updating his Program and making other stuff, he'll wind up with a pile of cookies.

A couple from everybody lol.

When Dark gets access to ROM's, He'll wind up with a bag of cookies i bet.

That is correct. You can give as many cookies to anyone. The only catch is you can only give 1 cookie to a single person every 1 hour. So for example I can give WR and Woodhole a cookie, but I would have to wait an hour before I could give them another cookie. The same rules apply for taking cookies too.

Not sure about the rest of the members but I don’t have access to see who or why members have given me cookies, I’d thank them but it’s a tad on the hard side when I have no clue as to who sent me the cookie. Any way of fixing that? Until then... thank you all for the cookies Smiley

But I like to eat more than one cookie per hr  Grin

In all seriousness I think this is a great idea..and yes Dark will have a whole pile once the ROMs start rolling..Imagine how many cookies will be flying around if/when a ROM kitchen is put out  Smiley

I'm so eager to see the true potential of this phone realized with some great ROM cooking!!

If my theory is correct I believe I may be able to simply use the Incite kitchen without any modifications, but i have to try it out first to know for sure.

I apologize if this is obvious and I am just missing it, but I can't find where do give cookies.

No problem Frieda. It's pretty simple once you spot it:

Find any post by the person you want to give a cookie to.
-Now, look on the left of their post at their username.
-Below that is their status (Newbie, Jr Member, Full Member, etc...).
-Below that is the number of cookies they currently have
-Below that is 2 links in orange: [Give a Cookie] and [Take a Cookie]

Remember: giving cookies is a reward for those who have gone above and beyond in one way or another. Conversely, taking away a cookie is a form of punishment for those whose behavior or contributions negatively impacts you or others in this forum. And you have to state your reasons when giving or taking.

In both cases, make sure it's deserved before thou giveth or taketh away   Grin
