Hi RC,

I don't seem to have that option. I'm new, so maybe there's a waiting period or a certain number of posts required?

Thanks

Hey there Frieda. The problem may be with the browser you are using to view this site and its security settings - try using a different web browser and see if that makes a difference.

As a last resort, feel free to send a private message to me, WarRaven, Dark or Woodhole with who you want to give/take a cookie and the reason why, and we'll be happy to do it in your name.

When I first joined, I was unable to cookie or de-cookie also. I sent a pm to Dark about it. I though it was just something to do with my account. He checked into it but could not resolve the issue for me. After a while I noticed that the cookie options were available to me. I always use firefox for my web browsing. When I read Frieda's last post, I thought maybe that's what it was. But having now stumped Dark and WR, I don't know.

It showed up now. Apparently, the web gremlins finally gave me the go-ahead. Thanks, all.

Awesome, glad it works now.

Might just be a time thing, say 24 hrs before you can give or take them.

Maybe to make sure people aren't going cookie-crazy the first 48 hours of being a member? Kind of like the waiting period after buying a gun  Cheesy

Figured out the whole cookies thing. Members don't get the option until they have at least 10 posts. At least that's what I gathered from looking at the settings.
