Does anyone know the video recording specs for the camera?  I've looked at LG and AT&T specifications and various online reviews and even read the manual, but I haven't been able to find the maximum resolution and frame rate for the video recording function.  (I'm just considering purchasing the unit so I don't have one to examine for myself.)  Thanks!

Naturally as soon as I asked this I stumbled across a review with some of the information. Roll Eyes  According to phonearena.com, it can record at 640x480.  No word about the frame rate, though, and phonearena.com didn't post a sample video (although it did have sample still photos), so if you have one and can check it out, I'd be appreciative.  Thanks.

wmm,

Buy the unti, it is currently the best MW phone on market and no others come close to it's 5 megap camera and video.

here is a quick video out my office window, 30 secs with file size of 4meg. The cars are doing about 50km an area so you can judge frame rate real life yourself. WAY better thasn any other phone I have ever had (And there have been lots, just found my old StarTac digital in a box the other day, wow flash backs)

Alright, send me your email address and I will send it to you as file size is to big for this post and I do not want to upload to my ftp.

Also, there is no lights on in my office (remodelling) so do not be to critical of the foreground light. I will also shoot one outside to send. rustic@shaw.ca

Got the video -- Thanks!  That is pretty impressive looking.  It appears to be 20 fps 640x480, which is definitely a step up from what my Fuze can do.  Thanks again for sending it.

i found a setting in qcam that lets you change the frame rate from auto to 15 or 30 fps but i would like to find a way to capture at a higher resolution. i would think that with a 5mp cam and a snapdragon that supports 720p video that the camera would record at higher than vga resolution. i would really like to find a way to change the res.
