Just recently, I noticed I wasn't getting notifications from my email account. I had it set to check every 4 hours. Last few days didn't get anything and when I go online with my laptop there is mail there. When I go into my account on my Expo and select the Send and Receive button this is the error I get.

Cannot connect with current connection settings. To change your connection settings, tap Settings.

SO I do...

I get the MEdia Net screen saying it is preconfigured and connot be modified.

So, what happened and how can I fix it??? I can't think of anything that I have done or changed. I turned off the phone and turned it back on and the same thing is happening. I can make/receive calls and send text messages and Mulitmedia messages, but not the emails.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Go to post #13 of this thread:

http://www.lg-expo.com/pre-installed-lg-expo-applications/internet-sharing/

and install Dark's "Enable MEdiaNet Settings CAB" and restart the phone. You'll be able to configure MEdiaNet after that.

Hope that helps!  Smiley

Generally speaking, should be PAP for AT&T

check your proxy setting, it should be disabled. enable it only when you want to use ATT'S WEBSITE
The Proxy Mgr is located in the Tools Menu

Also, make sure the network you have selected is Media net, not ATT ISP

i disabled this and i still can't connect through the ATTCM or the dial up networking.  I can see that the phone is connected to the computer.  this is really frustrating.

@ panapower - I don't understand what you are asking? Are you trying to connect to the Internet or Sync to your PC since you mention that you can see the phone is connected to your PC?
