Well i haven't played with that app, and I don't think I will, Though I can shed light on the ALC issue.

I have had this issue(Though from using a app to put unit to sleep) and found in the registry that the camera app and sometimes other apps will create a lock key in timings of the lighing, I have talked to Woodhole about this, though I though i was the only one to see it.

Ok, to fix ALC issue, take a reg editor for the Expo/IQ an goto,
HKEY/CU/ControlPanel/Backlight/

In this folder, there may or may not be a another folder named Locklevel, if there is, go into it an delete the lock setting key and reboot.( I don't have the issue, so I can't recall the exact key name, but its in that folder an set to 1 to lock ALC.

After rebooting you will have auto backlighting control again.

So maybe keep that in mind next time you guys are playing with the settings an it screws up again it may help avoid a restore.

Delete the locklevel program? My value is currently set to zero for that program?

Then its not locked, so it should be ok.

Symptoms would be, no auto-dimming of the back light after using camera app.

It seems like just restoring the registry settings should fix the problem...

If one of you guys could export the registry from hkcu/software/lge/lgcamera...it would help me out a lot.

there are only like 20 entries, can one of you just post the values for these 20 odd fields...

Thank You

Hey sinhabh,

I've got both the reg. files for the Expo and IQ (needed them when creating Tweaker)... What version do you want?

Edit: I've attached the Expo version (IQ is prob. the same anyway)... hope it helps you out.
