My dragon has died. Less than 2 weeks old. My battery was pretty low last night and I threw it on the charger before I fell asleep. After my shower this morning, I noticed the led was still red. Thought that was weird so I checked the battery status. 0%. Crap. I unplugged the eXpo, thinking it was displaying an error and it quickly died. Reseated the battery a couple of times but it will not charge. I cannot even power it up while plugged into the wall. Kinda pissed as I already gave my Incite away. Time to find out about getting some warranty through Amazon. ^%^$%$#$$%(*& (to be interpreted as you see fit).

Did you try a different charger?

If you remove the battery completely, then plug the phone into the charger, do you get the LG logo and then the "Insert Battery" screen at least?

Tried both suggestions. No joy. I tried to put it into emergency download but still nothin'. It's really dead. This has got me really thinking hard about insurance. I'm usually very careful with my phones but I couldn't stop this. Gonna try to set up gmail on this pos go phone to check on whether Amazon has responded.

Edit: No gmail on this pos, it's not in the list in the default e-mail app and I can't get to it via medianet either.

Edit: Amazon hadn't responded so I called them. See below.

So, just got off the phone with Amazon Wireless. I tell you what, had the service rep tried to sell me uh, anything really, I would have done it. What a great voice. California accent with just a hint of a southern drawl. Anyway, my new dragon has taken flight and should be here Wednesday. They sent me a link to a pre-paid shipping label and told me I can return the dead one in the box that the new one comes in.  Smiley

Sorry, it was a chick. I'd have bought her a house if she had asked.

Spooky incident Vanillagorilla..

Was phone in a case at the time when it was on charger, or just laying on its back in the open?

Apophis was lying on his back, plugged into oem charger on my nightstand. Hmm, the new dragon will need a name. Shruikan?

Draco? (Latin)
Ryuu? (Japanese)
Vasuki? (Hindi)
Volos? (Slavic)
...
Ummmm......
...
Saphira? (From the 'Eragon' series of books)
...
...
Mushu? (From 'Mulan')
...
...
...
Elliot? (From 'Pete's Dragon')

Lol, that's all I've got for now.

Actually, Shruikan is also from the Inheritance series. It's the dragon Galbatorix stole to replace his dead dragon. While Apophis, the flying serpent that chases Ra from the sky, is as evil as evil gets, that describes me more than my dragon. Shruikan is not evil by himself but is forced by his master to commit evil.

Knew that name sounded familiar for some reason....  Smiley

My daughter decided she has a magic touch an takes my eXpo and gets it to charge. It is powered on right now, charging away.  I don't get it.
