A way out there idea, go into the Phone, then into its options/settings an turn off keypad dial tones an re-test the phone ringer please....I am curious. MP3's play fine. I never had the keypad sounds on, turned them off right away. I also tried turning them on. Same problem. I can't believe no one else has this issue. Quite a few of those will create a fade-in effect that may have altered a reg entry we're not seeing and uninstalling the program may reverse that.  Logged "Life is tough. At first I thought it was something I did so I did a hard reset and it did the same thing. Right after the hard reset. No altercations. See if its still buggered in the sounds like the stock one. Ever since I flashed my phone to the v10g upgrade I havent been able to figure out how to change my default contacts to Lg contact instead of winmo. I'm startin to hate this phone. The stock ROM, is more frustrating then using someone else's phone altogether, its buggy an not finger friendly at all, oh well. Even in the cooked/stripped/modified Roms, LG's Contacts is till there, I suggest you look on the start menu for its contacts link instead of the one through the dialer.
