So the other day I noticed that my Finger Print Sensor had a scuff on it. I tried to wipe it off but it didnt go away, so I left it. Today I tried again, saw that it got bigger and realized that it was actually the paint chipping off. Later on I decided that it looked horrible with a gold mark on the otherwise fully black paint scheme so I proceeded to scratch of the remaining paint. Now the phone looks nice again with a gold strip for the sensor, however it no longer functions
I think the paint might have been functional as well somehow. But then again, I'm not sure if the sensor had stopped working prior to the paint coming off or not....
Anyone else strip their sensors?
