Hey guys I'm new here and I was wondering what was wrong with my LG IQ?  I was texting my friend when it suddenly shut off, so I turned it back on and when it was booting up it just freezes on the windows screen.  I've tried turning it on and off multiple times and it's always the same thing.  I've also tried flashing it but it always comes up with a "cannot find device." Any help is appreciated!!

ps. I''m not really good with electronics so if you could dumb things down it would help a lot

Hey cyren,

These forums aren't as active as they use to be. Have you tried doing a hard reset?... or even taking the battery out, waiting a few seconds then placing it back in and rebooting. This may sound silly but you'd be amazed sometimes that we forget the simple things and over think when trouble shooting our devices.

The hard reset info can be found here:
http://www.lg-expo.com/lg-expo-how-to/how-to-do-a-hard-reset/

As stated in the first post on that thread, you will lose all your data on the device but then again seeing as how it's not working for you right now, you're not losing much Smiley

Hope it helps!

I've tried all of that and it still doesn't work.  I think I'm just gonna get it repaired. Save myself the hassle haha
