Set phone to vibrate & ring and set ring volumn to highest setting. Will vibrate but no ring tones will play on incoming cars.

As well as that question, which Rom are you using?

Is this a stock phone or modified?

At what point on volume scale does the sound work?

Will it work at a lower scale with the vibration as well, or just with alarm only?

A little more information is needed.

I just did the ROM update (Windows 7) and now my ringer works. Thanks for providing that option.

Interesting, that it was a poor Rom flash in the first place.

Yes, Glad it's working now indeed, well done.

Sommehow I lost, or misplaced, my Windows Media program. The icon was still on the statrt menu, but it wouldn't load and the file folder was empty. I assumed that was the cause of the lost ringtones and decided in was time to upgrade the rom. So far, so good.

What is this ROM update you speak of?

I've been having the same problem with my phone since I bought it:
