Hi, i was a happy EXPO user for about 2 months.
Someday, while writing text message, i just finished and wanted to tap SEND.
Nothing happened.
After few days of doing everything, i got to know that i can scrool contact list
but nothing else, so actually screen works.
After hard RESET im stuck at ALIGN Screen...
LG wont accept the phone warranty until i get the ATT recipe, and i bought it on ebay...
Please guys, help me out...

Or please let me have full quality scan of purchase proof from AT&T and ill just photoshop it to my name...
I dont feel like loosing alot of $$ Sad

Hi Juno,

I know you have done a Hard-Reset, and it got you to the alignment screen, and it stuck there.

Have you tried pulling the battery for 10 minutes an retesting it again?

That may not do anything, just worth a shot at this point.

About a copying a reciept, IDK if anyone here can do that, as they could lose their own warranty if something goes wrong.

Try the battery pull, and if all else fails, send it in an pay for the repair, which shouldn't be much, I suspect if anything more then a glitch, a loosse ribbon cable.

Let us know how it works out for you though, Good luck.

I see, ok was a long shot.

About the ribbon cable, without taking phone apart, I don't think theres anything that can be done.

May just have to send it in an deal with the outcome.

Idk sorry

Why does AT&T need a receipt...when i call in for replacement they ask for the IMEI and then say that this doesnt match the phone we have on file and they then say...we will change it over...they then check to see if the IMEI is still covered under warranty...anyway i guess your experience is different than mine...i would call and ask for a supervisor and yell and scream til you get somewhere it always works...

anyways if that doesnt work what kind of phone did you have before?...do you still
have it...is it still covered under warranty...is it still in good condition...if so you could send that one in for replacement and sell the replacement phone and recoup some of the money lost from the phone...or contact lg directly and see if they will help you out since they are the ones that made the phone...

you could also try to get insurance on the phone and have it replaced under the insurance policy

Hey, Juno. This may be a long shot, but have you tried calibrating with a paperclip or the stylus? Sometimes those stupid crosshairs can be very picky. Make sure you are pressing on them precisely in the middle.
