I hate the mobile IE and always use opera. I was wondering if there was a way to change the default browser... maybe even replace the home screeen accordingly. If there isn't a way to do this now will there be sometime soon? Could I just uninstall mobile IE altogether or would i have problems down the road? Right now I have skyfire as my default. Just uninstall then reinstall. See what I want is for IE to be gone from the LG Idles. I'd like to actually replace the ie icon with opera but don't know how and isn't even sure if it's possible yet. So if all else is not possible then next i'd ask if it was possible to uninstall IE completely without any issues. You can't uninstall IE either since it is part of the rom. You could delete the components of IE from the windows folder, but I don't recommend it. I once cooked a rom without IE and there were problems since there are parts of the OS the depend on it.
