The program you want to use is blueinput/bluemouse, but the big problem lies in how our phones are set up. We have the Widcomm bluetooth stack, and the program is written for the microsoft bluetooth stack only. So we either need to have someone write a rom to mimic blueinput/bluemouse's functionality and make it compatible with our ms bt stack, or we need to see if there's a way to change our widcomm to ms on the phone.

I'm fairly inexperienced in this portion of phones, and I've been doing all the searches I can possibly do on the net to no avail. Anyone have anymore info on this?

I would love this option.  I was able to connect my Bluetooth mouse, but my phone didn't fine any usable profiles.

I was excited because few times while using the stock ROM I noticed a mouse pointer on my home screen (LG Idles).  At the time I had my bluetooth headset connected and I held the back button on my phone to start Voice Command (instead of using the bluetooth headset button), a mouse pointer would show up on the screen at the location where I last touched it.  It would disappear as soon as I touched the screen, but it gave me hope that there were mouse drivers.

The mouse appearing on the screen is part of windows mobile. There are other way to bring it up, but I'm not remembering at the moment.

I guess I was surprised since it is not something that has ever appeared on any of the HTC devices I have owned.  It appears to be the same cursor that you get in IE.  I was surprised by that too actually; you don't get a cursor in IE with HTC.

The mouse I can add, is something that appears on long web pages an such, then use d-pad to scroll over hyper links, it usually coaxes it from a highlighting box to a mouse cursor.

Been present since wm5.

I apologize, I guess my comment has taken this thread off topic a bit.

The mouse cursor never appears on the HTC Touch Pro (not even in IE), I suppose it was a decision by HTC to prevent it from ever appearing.  I see now that it comes up in IE in the 6.5.3 emulator as well so it was only new to me coming from a Touch Pro.

As for getting a Bluetooth mouse to work, I tried BlueInput on my Touch Pro and it worked OK, but was a little buggy.  I would prefer native support, but for some reason Microsoft doesn't think anyone is interested in using a Bluetooth mouse on a Windows mobile device.

not to bust any bubbles but first that would be awesome second isnt widcomm>>>>>>ms bt??
i was doing research at xda to find if there is a way to control our ps3 of course its not supported as the HD2 isnt either yet with mobile remote but i figure we should be finding a way to go in the positive direction to bigger better things like controlling satellites with our expo and dammit we will!!! but i am thinking what about a different mouse that doesnt use the MS stack like lg or some generic one would they work cuz that would be way easier for me than to get MS stuff to work (cough VISTA cough) hahahahah

It's still in Beta and claims it doesn't work on the 1.9 stack (which the expo has) but hopefully the final version will.
