Hi there

Did you know that we have four mappable keys on our slide out keyboards?

On our sliding keyboards, there are Schedule (FN ,) email (FN <), Internet explorer (FN down), and SMS (FN>) buttons.

The great thing about them, is that they can be mapped to any app you want.

If you go into Settings/Personal/Buttons you have the option to change the mapping from the default mapping to any program.

For instance, if you use Opera 10 more than IE, you could assign the Internet explorer button to Opera.

First open the buttons settings, at Settings/Personal/Buttons.
Then scroll down and select the button you want to change.
With the button you want highlighted, use the drop-down list at the bottom of the screen, to find the program that you want the key to activate.
Click OK and you are good to go.

cheers,
stimpson

ps
Of course this is where you change the settings for Hardware mappable buttons as well (the camera and multitasking buttons).

Is it me, or is the OK button on the keyboard not mapped to the Okay button? Mine acts as the enter key instead.

Mine does the same thing. I was actually hoping it to be a send button than an enter key.

Has anyone else noticed that when in landscape mode, the fn keys do not work when using them in a password field? If you pay attention to the password field as you are entering in a password in landscape you will see that the letters show in the box and then turn into an asterisk *, but if you use symbols via the fn key it will not show the symbol, only an asterisk. Put it in portrait mode and you will see the symbol entered when using the software version of the keyboard. Someone mentioned that you can use the normal on screen keyboard in landscape, but it still will not enter in the functioned keys. You still have to go back to portrait to do this. I've only seen this happen with password fields that hide the password. Normal text entry is fine.
