Start Menu

hi all! hope you can help with this one.

i played with Total Commander in the /Windows directory i changed the name of the sart menu directory to ss (the phone lagged for a second and i was stuck with it after) so i changed it back to StartMenu and i wasn't sure if it didn't have a space between Start and Menu.

later i did a soft reset and now the Start soft button on the top left doesn't work anymore. i'm running Titanium and the stock ROM.

how do i access the /Windows directory in my phone, but from my computer?

You should be able to explore the file system using ActiveSync.

You can also try MyMobiler, it has a mobile explorer (under tools) that lets you explore the file system.

it's Start Menu with a space and capital letters

oh yeah! thanks guys!

i don't know how but i managed to get IExplorer going and just like on the computer it turned into File Explorer when i typed a file path instead of a url Grin

Cool. I never thought to try that (type a path instead of a URL).

Maybe you got to IE via the Internet shortcut key on the keyboard?
