Topic: ARGH!! Will NOT vibrate for new text msgs!!!  (Read 692 times)

Please, can ANYONE tell us what we could be doing wrong?  Phone will not vibrate with new text message which we need while at work, meetings, etc..  We have all the vibration menus turned to ON position all over the phone, what could be wrong??  (it will vibrate when a call comes in, but we really need it to vibrate when a new text comes in)

When my volume is set to VIbrate it does vibrate. It has been a while since my Expo has been stock though and dont know if this is something built into WM 6.5.3.

The vibrations are certainly not strong at all though. Maybe one of the other guys will be able to help you out. Im sorry your not enjoying your phone like you should but if you would like to make your phone all it can be check out some of Darks ROMs. They make this phone fly. It also has the updated Windows Mobile.

I going to assume you know a little bit about smartphones,  so here is a link with an app which will let you edit your vibration settings for phone calls, sms and emails.

I haven't tried it out myself as I don't use vibration for my phone.

Why don't you try it out and let us know how it goes.
