Hi Everybody -
LG Expo is going to be my first smart phone. I was leaning toward Blackberry Torch or Sony Ericsson Xperia 10, but either weren't available at the time of purchase. Then I saw LG Expo for the first time, and was surprise that AT&T was giving it away with signing of new contract. LG Expo seems to be full of potential. I mean the Snapdragon processor, and the high resolution display. Is it because of it's OS? I heard about Window Mobile being a dying reed, and the market seems to be dominated by android and iphone, with Blackberry hanging on. My previous two multimedia phones were Samsungs, and with helps from samsung-eternity.com and samsung-mythic.com, I was able to get the most out of my phone. So I hope I can get the same result with this site and my new phone.

Hello, and welcome to the forums!
For your first real question I must say that the two main reasons this phone is not still a high contender is, 1) Windows Mobile (Yes, Windows Mobile has been shut down for Windows Phone 7) and 2) Resistive touch screen, some may like it, but the market doesn't.
As for your other questions, I guarantee that the Expo will do all and more of what your other past phones have, and you can count on it!

This phone is very powerful as you stated its running Snapdragon and a beautiful 480x800 screen so its got alot under the hood.
One thing I really suggest that will boost its performance, is to flash the Dragon-Storm ROM onto it, giving it many upgrades that are very appreciable. This is NOT required, but I definetly recommenced doing so.
Other then that, this site is a wonderful source for questions that need answers
