hello from BC

Hi All,
Just want to drop a quick hello to all of you eXpo/IQ fans. I've been reading this site a lot and have decided to switch to the LG IQ. Hopefully I can find a good deal on it soon. I've been using smartphones for a number of years now, first was the Color Visor with the CDMA module, which was a waste of money because I couldn't convince my provider (Telus) to activate the module on their network; and then there was my ever so huge HTC Apache, and finally my trusty HTC Tytn. Man, I had some fun time cooking rom for the tytn.... still remember the day I found out that someone has hacked out the GPS function off the phone!! Not bad for an old WinMo smartphone to have almost the same capability as the  :)iPhone Hopefully, when I get the IQ, it'll be just as fun to play with.

Hi popcanguy, Welcome to the forums 

If like you said, you enjoyed other WM phones, then you should really like this one.
( the tweaks help alot over factory set up)

Like VanillaGorilla mentioned, Look into Woodhole's "Tweaker" app, and when your ready an tired of the stock rom, We have a couple different cooks here churning out roms for the phone to make it sweet.

Hope you find one soon, an get it tweaked out like you want.
