SPB is pretty nice, Support for it is limited as you already know, though, it seems to be coming.
Make sure you check out our tweaker program made By Woodhole, It helps with a pile of tweaks we have compiled since we started digging into our phones, Check my signature for link.
Oh, Last thought, The most important app is,..... SPB backup lol, This is a must have for any WM tweaker there is.
Well anyhow, make yourself at home at the forums, look around, alot of other tips an tweaks here too.

Oh, in one post here, I made some cabs to enable tilting of the carousel and to enable Open gl for it, I believe in the SPB Mobile shell thread, If you don't find it, PM me an I'll dig it up.
