Got an Expo from eBay a couple weeks ago and am very pleased with the phone and projector and its use with a Motorola S9 bluetooth headset. I use TCPMP Stroths YouTube version and it works perfectly with no dropped frames when the phone is plugged in.  Now, I'm just waiting for a program to manually set the clock speed so the device plays perfectly without being plugged in and so I can use external speakers during movies/presentations...  Dropped frames and other video issues only occur due to changing of clock speed during playback.  Anybody know why the clock speed only shows as 512MHz when plugged in and running TCPMP?

Have used Windows Mobile devices since 1999 and waited a long time for GPS, phone and multimedia to all be on one device. It has arrived!

History: Cassiopeia E10, E11, Toshiba E750, Dell Axim x50V, Dell Axim x3i, Mio A701, Eten X800, HTC Advantage X7500, LG Incite.  LG phones started out as junk and I used to only have Motorola, then Nokia, and now LG has come a long way.

Hey welcome to the forums and hope you enjoy your stay. We'll be glad to help you out in any way we can.

You say the processor is clocked at 51MHz? Kinda odd since the phone is running fine from what I've noticed.

Hi DudeZXT,  Welcome to the Expo/IQ forums. Smiley

The clock speed tcmp identifies, is showing when its idle, like after a benchmark, and its showing the speed stepping in action, Like an Intel processor, it steps down its clock cycles when its not needed.

So, when it not doing anything, it slows itself to save juice, an when needed it ramps itself up again.

It usually is fairly seemless, though it can be seen in a long video when it cycles.

Well anyhow, Again, Welcome to the Forums, Make yourself at home an enjoy yourself here.

Peace
