Howdy, from FL

Long time stalker, first time poster, ....well ok, I only got my phone a week ago, but mostly my decision was based on the things I read in this forum, and XDA. I was at XDA because of the roms for my Epix, which died and came across the expo. So... thanks, I am really enjoying it.

Upgraded to 10g from LG as soon as I got it, but don't like the txt app on my phone so am thinking of a new rom. Ill take any suggestions if anyone has any.

Welcome to the forum, Etaduck. One of the first things you'll want to check out is an app called Tweaker, by Woodhole. It gives any easy way to apply most of the more important tweaks.

Which rom is right depends on what you want. I use a Dragonstorm rom by Dark, I prefer Titanium over other UIs. If you're into Sense, one of our staff, thekingevrock, has cooked a rom for that. We got a lot of info here, have a look around and have some fun.

Thanks for the reply, Ive been looking at the two ROMs and haven't quite decided. I had titanium on my Epix, and like it. But my friend has an HTC and I do like some of the pretty icons on it, but I know it will get old fast. Eh, with Microsoft myphone, it only takes about 30min to load everything up anyways. I think I'm going to try thekingerock's a try.

I have tried something called advance config, but Ill give tweaker a try, looks like its Expo based.

Hey Etaduck, As Vanilla said, Welcome to the forums Wink

He's also bang on about the Tweaker program, its made for the Expo/IQ where as Advanced Config is kind of a shot gun approach.

Yes, Roms, the magic of the phone, you scored here, we have a couple great cooks here making them.

Myphone service, is sweet to have for us, thanks MS.
