I have been a longtime user of Windows Mobile... started with Pocket PC 2002. Glad those days are gone.
I have been interested in ROM Development, and Kitchen development for quite some time. I recently picked up the LG IQ (GW825) from Telus, and decided in about 2 seconds that this phone can do way more than the ROM allows.
So that said, I am looking for a bit of an education. Specifically in ROM cooking and Kitchen Development, and probably even a little lower level activities as well.
I have been lurking on the forums for a few days, looking for the basic info, but I will be approaching the masters (Dark, Spocky, WarRaven and others) for any tips or direction they can provide. I don't intend to harvest and run. I will be a productive member of the community.

I want to add my welcome as well. Looks like you have been pointed in the right direction as far as rom development goes. In the meantime, to see what that Dragon really can do, you might want to look into Woodhole's Tweaker app. It's an easy way to apply most of the more important tweaks that have been discovered by the community. There's a link to it in WarRaven and Dark's signatures. While you're learning, you may also want to sample what our chefs have been cooking. Well, there's lots to read and learn around here, take a look around and have some fun.
