New to Forum, Roms, Expo!!!!

It said introduce yourself so I am. I got the LG Expo after waiting a long time after my contract expired, reviewing lots of user ratings etc. etc.. So far I'm ok with the phone, works for most all of my needs and does pretty much all I need it for.

I know lots (really, lots) about computers and Windows but don't know squat about ROMs, Cell phones etc.. Looking though the forums I find all kinds of stuff I may decide to try out but be prepaired I may ask some really seemingly dumb questions.

Anyway, glad you are all here to help out, I already found solutions to some problems I had with this phone in the forums.

Welcome to the forums

The phone once its tweaked is a real sweetheart, though in its completely stock form is a little awkward.

Well you came to the right place for your phone indeed.

Don't worry about not knowing about roms, we have a thread on how to flash an we're here to help where you need a hand too.

Most of the roms, have removed the LG Idles skin an cleaned up the overall feel of the phone with some nice tweaks that have been made available through forum members.

As well as a nice tweaker app to get the extra bits missing from the phone in its stock form, this can be used an is recommended even after flashing for the extras that it brings into play.

Welcome to the Forums. When i first joined i was new to ROM's and tweaking myself. It is a fairly easy process as long as you do your research and ask questions to the guys and girls??? on this forum. It has been a great source of information for many.

So far I like the phone in it's stock form. I have a couple of small problems that I would like to resolve but have not had much luck searching for. 1. The speaker phone seems to act weird at times, gets echos on some calls and volume seems low. 2. Have read about flashing with Darks Roms but not sure if I will be able to revert to original Rom if I don't like the results after flashing to one of Darks Roms. Any info would be apprediated. Thks in advance.

Dark's roms are really quite good if you like Titanium or are going to use a shell like SPB. If you would prefer the Sense interface, thekingevrock has put a couple roms together. You can flash back to 10D if you have it. Dark had it online a while back but I'm not sure the link is still valid. I think I still have a copy, let me know if you need it and I can post it on MediaFire. I know you can still get 10G, it's a minor upgrade over the original but still has all the bloatware.
