Been a eXpo user for a few months, and have been lurking for a couple. I'm an IT Architect with almost 40 years in the business and upgraded from a Tilt. Just now getting to the point that mod's will be investigated and in particular new ROM's (many thanks to the XDA folks for the great work over the year's). Will acquire the projector before summer's end and will be looking for others experiences.
When most of my colleagues hae run off for an iPhone, the lack of teathering and a jailed phone is just not worth the $$$. I tried both the Tilt2 and eXpo. My final selection was based on the following criteria -
1) Generally available applications -
2) Ability to install any application acquired / developed -
3) Strong support community -
4) Ability to tether PC ( or application available to provide same) -
5) Support for current GPS app (Co-Pilot 8 Live) -
6) Speed and reliability
In the final cut, speed and LG reliability were the deciding factors. The only thing that could be better would be an Android ROM
