The reasons why I picked the LG-eXpo are:
1.) It was offered at $0.01 right at th point where I was to pick a new phone to sign up for the next 2 years.
2.) It has Office apps like Word and Excel on it.
3.) It has a slide out keyboard.
4.) It has a touch screen.
5.) It runs at 3G.
6.) Bluetooth.
What I like extra about it that was not in my decision making, but I like:
1.) The 5.0 Camera
2.) GPS
3.) Multimedia Support
What I do not like:
1.) No regular headphone plug. If you use the stereo headphone that came with it, you can not
charge it at the same time.
Things I am neutral about:
1.) Windows Mobile 6.5 vs Android

Welcome to the forum. I think you picked a winner, but I'm biased. The lack of a 3.5 mm jack is a bummer, but you can overcome it with the right bluetooth accessories. We got a lot of good people and a lot of good info here to help you. You should definitely check out Woodhole's Tweaker app and if you're looking for a custom rom, our chefs have that covered as well. Take a look around and have some fun.
