Here we go:

Phone #1
* Country - State: USA - TX
* Carrier: AT&T
* Purchased from: AT&T
* Price: 249 out of pocket - 100 Rebate - 100 Account Credit* See Over All Rating
* Delays: 5 Business Days
* Over All Rating: 2/5 - Ordered on a Monday, was told I would see it Tuesday. On Thursday I was told 'Sorry its on BO with no ETA'. After raising hell with them because I needed a phone a high level manager contacted me back, apologized for all the miss communication on my order, the lies about the ETA, and offered me a 100 credit to my account, and then located a phone through a 3rd party company and shipped it to me(Shipped from DFW Area). 3 weeks later, the phone bit the dust...

Phone #2
* Price: Free - Received a second $100 Credit *See Over All Rating Againyet again
* Delays: 10 Business Days
* Over All Rating: 0/5 - This was a worse experience then the first. Originally I was told my ONLY 2 options to replace my defective phone was 1. BUY a new one for full retails price(499) and then return the defective one. Once retruned they would 'credit' the cost of the new phone back to me....in 6-8 weeks. Option 2. Return the defective phone, wait 6-8 weeks for the credit and THEN order a new phone. Needless to say, neither option was realistic because my old phone had been donated already to Phones for Solders(God Bless them BTW). I was then contacted back by yet another High Level Manager who issued me yet another credit(At this point, AT&T has PAID me $50 to use this phone). However this time, they could not commit to an ETA. Since I was getting ready to leave the country I told them they had till my trial period was about to expire to either supply me with the new phone to replace the defective one, or I would cancel my Accounts( We have AT&T fgor everything, so we pay right around 500 a month to them and have been for many many many years). Needless to say, Voila a new phone shipped to me 10 business days after the entire situation.

So here I am, finally after 8 weeks of work, I have been using my new eXpo for 10 days now, and am finally loving it. HOWEVER - If there is a serious problem with the antenna's or something else, i would love to find out what it is, as there are hundreds upon hundreds of people who have been waiting longer then when I placed my original order....

It was a mess, but I got some unexpected news on Friday from AT&T... They had received back the original phone I had ordered and have refunded be back the entire purchase price.

With that being done, AT&T has PAID me to use this phone. With all of the headache with them, I am too affraid to even tell them they messed up (AGAIN!) lol....

oh what to do?HuhHuh??

* Country - State: Alberta, Canada
* Carrier: Telus
* Purchased from: Telus
* Price: $99
* Delays: walked out of store with it
* Over All Rating: phone is cool (minus the bugs) but telus doesn't support or understand these models (IT said likely due to expected windows 7 release, then wouldn't take back my 3 week old phone)

* Country - State: U.S. Californ-i-a
* Carrier: AT&T
* Purchased from: Amazon Wireless
* Price: $49
* Delays: Purchased May 29, Arrived June 2. Still waiting for the Invisible Shield I bought off ebay 15 minutes later.
* Over All Rating: Great price on a great phone. Amazon Wireless was advertising no activation fee through 5/31 but hit me with it anyway. No way to avoid a PDA data plan but I had it already anyway. Coming from the Incite made the transition fairly painless as I was already used to LG's quirks.

Realized I've been negligent and never answered this survey, so here you go:

* Country - State: US - WA
* Carrier: AT&T
* Purchased from: Local private sale from Craigslist ad
* Price: $300
* Delays: None - drove an hour to meet the seller and than drove back home :-)
* Over All Rating: Very happy. Have experienced no hardware problems or disappointments at all yet. Plus, by buying it the way I did, I preserved my AT&T upgrade in case I ever accidentally kill this one and need to replace it - or find my little dragon a new sibling ;-)

* Country -U.S   State: Texas
* Carrier: AT&T

Can't wait to apply Dragonstorm ROM!!!

Update: Have applied the Dragonstorm ROM (WOOT!!!), Woodhole's eXpo/IQ Tweaker, LeoCpuSpeed v4, and used the paperclip trick (toothppick, actually); all without a single problem (Thanks Dark, Woodhole, NetRipper, and all you other brilliant (don't be modest) individuals who have produced these great ROM's and utilities), and discovered that this phone is indeed (IMO) the best ever.

Stupid things I did because I DID NOT READ THROUGH THESE FORUMS ENOUGH:

1. Played with the LG Expo menus before flashing the ROM with Dragonstorm, got familiar with it then
    EVERYTHING CHANGED (for the better) after flashing the ROM...
2. Registered fingerprints with the factory ROM; that had to be redone after the flash...
2. Installed .net 3.5; unnecessary because Dark included 3.7 in Dragonstorm...

Plus, you won't kill your call or data connection by holding it "wrong"  Grin  Good call choosing the eXpo.
