Everywhere I go I seem to come across some person who really annoys me claiming the iPhone is like the best thing since super sliced bread, and my phone is crap (they offer no specific point why...funny huh?). They simply wont take a fact that they paid more, and only got a silly lil picture of a fruit, on the back of their phone.

I try explaining a little bit to them why I picked my phone, eg. power, customization etc. But no matter what they all seem to blinded by that Apple, that it doesn't matter if my phone were a wad of cash.

I wont go into this so much, because I'm sure some of you get the picture but my question is, have you ever been faced with someone who is just so stubborn, or ridiculously wrong on this topic thats its unbelievable?

You can't argue/make a point with people who have already made up their mind.   I point out those same arguments all the time to all Apple/Mac fan boys when comparing apple laptops to PC laptops.

I have to say, I wish the EXPO was a tad wider and had a capacitive screen.

Oh yeah, that and I wish Winmo had the Angry Birds game.   C'mon, even Android has it.

Sad to say WP7 will have it, not at launch, but it will get it, they are currently working on it.

Also, as much as I hate itunes and apple, you have to give credit where credit is due. The iphone was way ahead in general usability and stability when wm5 was still crawling. The iphone 4 is a good phone, fast, and if you are in the apple environment it plays nicely with your other toys.

That said they can all go to hell, I want WP7

Yeah thats all true.

I also wish our screen was wider... When I am using it I dont really care but once you see it next to other phones......hehehe yeah not so buff then. But as for capacitive....I honestly kind of flip flop as to which of the two I prefer. Like IQ and Expo both have extremely precise screens which is nice for a lot of things...

Okay, I will grant Apple the fact that basically they woke up all these companies with the idea and hardware. Its a wake up call that Microsoft desperately needed, and honestly with out iPhone triggering this huge competition for the phone going in your pocket....I honestly think phones would be no where near as fast as say a Droid X. It showed companies they need to pull ahead and move fast even if theirs no front runner.

Still f*** iPhone, I like to have fun on a phone with out downloading a flood of apps on a dull interface.

I do a little freelance IT for some very un-technical people. After seeing what they do to their PCs, I am quite glad that most of them pull iPhones out of their pockets. Face it, the iPhone is the best fit for people who want a phone that is smarter than they are.

And now for something really different . . .

Funny thread, and the one thing that annoys me the most about Apple users...

Is you never have to ask who owns one,.. As their always telling you that they have one and how it's the best thing since sliced bread.

People that say nothing, interest me the most for their choices, and uses for their phones over any iphone user.

Last though on this, the iphone is made, to sell to the lowest common denominator, an if the shoe fits, no need to talk about it further.

Yeah I agree the most every user of the iPhone love to explain they have one... And also love to pull it out, flick the app screen and do absoulutely nothing on it when people walk by...

What to say... I work for an IT dept and several guys have been flooding to iphones... (but a couple of them have switched to WP7!!!!) and it's true, they are pretty closed minded, just thinking some kind of superiority by having the "retina display"... want cool feature??? use the front facing camera over wifi...lol  Tongue
I'm just a proud eXpo owner and even the "fanbois" come to play and examine my phone, since I've loaded it with lots of software and games!!!!!!!!!!! Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin
Anyway, they are curious specimens trying to convince everyone that there's nothing better outside the apple garden...
