Just came across this article today:

http://www.wmexperts.com/lg-panther-wp7-spotted-again-plus-packging-camera-shot-and-more

Some developers now have prototypes of LG's Panther phone running Windows Phone 7 OS.  Not alot of details yet, though in appearance at least it looks quite similar to the expo.

Does anyone have other links about WP7 or LG Panther etc?

Cool...looks like a new and improved version of our beloved IQ/Expo. I want one! Smiley

EDIT: Looks like a dual flash on the back too. Either that or it's just the speaker, it's kinda blurry...

Engadget has been doing a lot on WP7 and even a little bit on the LG Panther

Here's some info on WP7

And here's some more on both the LG Panther and WP7 with a video of the bootup sequence

Thanks for the info spidertech. Overall, my first impressions are that I still like the look of our phone a bit better, especially the keyboard.

Its a copy of our phone imo, minus the scanner an trims.

Modry, I agree, I think our phone is classy looking compared to brushed plastic.(Unless thats not plastic, but i doubt it)

We need to see its baseline windows though I think. Grin

I assumed that thing in the middle (with the Windows logo) was also a scanner, but yeah our phone does just look a lot classier and sleek compared to the Panther.

I retract my previous statement of wanting one. Besides the processor, the fingerprint scanner was a big reason I wanted the IQ lol.

Honestly I could do without the fingerprint sensor. I mean it's pretty cool and could be quite useful if you had the apps to support it. I know if I had a job where I needed to keep sensitive information on the phone I would definitely use it. I used it for a while, but it got annoying to have to swipe it every time I had to unlock the phone. I had to lock the phone a lot since the damn thing would come on every time I got an email or txt message, and when it was in my pocket I'd end up inadvertently tapping something on the screen or removing icons from my SPB layout. It was also pretty annoying to have to swipe it every time the phone reset. It could have been utilized a lot better in the expo than it currently is.
