Am I the only one that likes custom muscle cars here? There is one problem with all of those new fancy cars, no character.

Hell no, still love them. though after having worked on so many of that old body style, they kinda slid down my list of rods.

So light in the rear, excellent tire smokers, a decent 327-383 and your golden to light them up an not move unless you want it too lol.

Could wind up them old leaf springs with a line locker on the front brakes for some light intersection hopping, just about lost a buddy out of the door emptying the ashtray racing a corvette in the 80's, pissed drunk and with  a 3700 rpm stall, dual holley 650cfm, wiend mid-rise dual plane intake with a custom cold water cooler plate under the carbs on a 383 sb, we won, lost the ashtray forever.

Editted to add: I do miss power-tuning the old girls Wink

Sorry Phatride4ever,Is that your cage btw?

Mind if i ask, what colour of spring your using on the secondary's?
Also, are you using a two stage power valve or just a low vacuum single?
I was never satisfied with the singles, but would blow out the doubles, and in this day an age, finding metering block an float bowl gaskets could be tricky.

I also ALWAYs used two o-rings on the metering screws, and depending on the weekend, would slap a 50cc rio high volume pump on the front bowl for some serious loss of traction. I chamfered my jets myself for a longer bevel.

Now mind you, these are old holley zip=kit tricks, if thats an edelbrock, all bets are off. never used one on any mill I built.

I said power-tuning/timing earlier then moved your picture over an seen your t-light, so please take no offence to my coment ok if thats you an your ride  Wink

Yeah thats one of the stangs that is fav of mine, short nose wide body with a big block, of say a 427,428,429 or a 460 or 462 ci caliber

I have a Pr-Blue Oval buddy that had one, took three batteries to turn it over, then when it fired, it was hard to breathe next to it for the pounding of the strokes an the depletiong of oxygen in its area when tickled slightly.

It would shake the overhead lights loose in the A&W drive ins idling lol.

Sorry for going o/t gang, my bad.

Edit, I tried to post this once, but had hit modify by acciden, sorry Nev310, I think i fixed it.

Not my car, just like the body. I drive about 20 mile to college so i have a gas saving corolla. BUT my brother just started on a crazy project. He bought a 6.2L Hummer H2 block, and a huge turbo (this thing is rated at 700hp minimum and 1300hp max!). He is going to bore out the engine, and put in all new pistons, rods, cam, everything. He is currently looking for a late 60s-early 70s nova/chevelle/camero rolling chassis/body right now. This thing will be a beast!! I cant wait to help him with it.

Hehe interesting, He'll need front end springs from a one ton as well and possibly ten ply tires Cheesy

Yeah squeeze-bang's make some serious power alright.

I'd say a small school bus, gutted with blacked out windows would be quite nice with about 700+ reliable hp.
Also, shoot for one with a full floater rear end though,(Fairly strong) then could have some nasty gearing in it, maybe too much, bah.

A School bus that drifts, rocks imo.(could modify it for weekend duty as a pub-crawl bus, only for hotties..) Wink

Koenigsegg CCXR

Pagani Zonda R

Porsche GT2/GT3 or Audi R8

A more obtainable dream car would be a GTR

Or a lotus Elise Exige
