XDA Forum We need EVERYONE help

XDA is adding non HTC phones and our expos would get a HUGE help if xda added an expo forum. I personally ask everyone here to go by this thread

I am am not asking this to take away business from this thread(tho this will probably happen to some extent), but rather because if the expo were added to xda we would get a huge boost in dev support. It would truly be huge.

so go say +1 to adding the lg expo/lg monaco!

Yeah. Thanks for bringing it up again. I don't think xda takes any LG smartphone seriously yet. Eventually they will have to recognize LG and then hopefully they will have a spot for us. Or we can just keep nagging them. Either way.

Dark: Yea im a LONG time xda'er (4 years 1200+ posts) and i am seriously pissed at them right now over this issue, they are being completely gay over the issue.

Is there any way we can make this thread an announcement? or just an announcement over this issue? Because i know(almost for a fact) that if we get at least 50+ to go over there to post "1+ for expo forum!" in that thread we would get a forum. and considering the number of people are frequenting this forum that should be to hard.

Yeah, we can do a broadcast on it.

Though, I'm not hopefull of XDA recoqnizing any merit through numbers, OmniaII was/is pretty popular, and it took this long to be added, it doesn't bode well.

We'll keep trying though.

I kinda suspect that those interested in morphing software between the mainstream HTC an the others, are already looking at what cross platform programming can work, like Samsing's an LG's etc, that is, if their interested, as if they don't have a sample to work with, it pretty much hoops them.

very true, but they added the acer liquid which (from my understanding) was added simply because of the # of people who chimed in saying they wanted a forum for it. And the i can assure hte the acer liquid is a pos compared to the expo. The liquid forum has had VERY little action scene added tho.


So i believe that pure # "could" get us a spot, if not i still think its worth a shot.

Keep the votes coming! also a note to all devs here go in and express ur interest in devoloping for the expo because they seem to be learning from there prior mistakes xD(cough acer liquid). hehe.
