WOW! This ROM rocks, man. I actually like the software on my expo finally. It's nice to have something on windows mobile thats smooth. I have had 42 MB of free ram, and thats good enough for me.

Just two things: Why is the windows marketplace a default shortcut if its not installed? (very minor problem)
And you seem to say my Location doesn't work.. So how do I get the whether tab to update in a fashion that updates my homescreen too like I see on some of these screenshots. Whenever I updated it attempts to, then just says, "No weather data available."

Sorry if this is super basic. I appreciate the help.

Go to the weather tab and add a location, preferably yours. Then go back to home tab and press on the clock. It should give you the option to change the world clock. Pick the location you added. Also on the main tab you open menu and it should give you the option to turn on the weather animation. I can't see mine since I installed CHT.

Ah, thank you, sir. Its too bad the nearest city in the catalogue has no where near the same weather conditions as where I live.

Try installing Dutty's My location removal CAB. Search for it XDA. I've installed CHT and the weather animations and summary work fine for me on my homescreen.

I've also been unable to get a connection setup wizard cooked in properly. Dark, any tips on this?

Scratch that; HTC Connection Setup cooks in just fine now.

Ok...I've had some time to play with this and I have a few issues/concerns. One thing is that I use Skyfire a lot and it seems to crash the hell out of this ROM. I was using it on stock and the Dragonstorm fine, but it doesn't seem to like this one for some reason. Anyone else use Skyfire with this ROM?

I also can't change the wallpaper. I managed to get the weather animation on the home tab working, but it's just a black background. You have the option of weather wallpaper, or animated wallpaper, but it doesn't matter which one I select. It doesn't prompt me to select something for a wallpaper and the weather animation comes up no matter if I select weather wallpaper or animated wallpaper. The thing with that too is that the animation only shows when I come back from the home tab from another application. Any ideas?

The ROM for the most part is pretty stable though. It would be nice to have the Facebook and Twitter tabs cooked in though. I don't use the photo or music tabs so I don't think having the extra tabs would be an issue.

The battery life doesn't really seem to be an issue. I haven't used my projector much with this ROM, but I plan on testing it out once my power gets to 100%.

I haven't tried Skyfire on this build yet, but I bet it sucks Wink
I've gotten plenty of memory errors from SF on other, less RAM intensive ROMs, so I would not expect much performance at all here. Have you tried the Uzard browser? It's still somewhat rough, but it plays Flash videos nicely.

For the wallpaper, there is a link in the first post for a working changer, though that too eats RAM.

As to your tabs request, PM me, and I may be able to crank out something customized for you.

I'll definitely PM you about the tabs. Thanks.

I've run into a couple of other issues just in the past day though. My active sync connection no longer recognizes my password for my google account. It said the password was incorrect, but I can login on the web just fine with it.

I've also tried to install google maps and it will not install. It just says, "Google Maps cannot be installed. To try installing again to a different location, choose a location." I have plenty of space on the phone to install it too, so I know it's not a space issue.

UPDATE: I actually went to google.com and installed the google maps from the website and it installed fine. I guess the ROM didn't like the cab I already had which was downloaded not that long ago to install on dragonstorm. Still have the exchange issue though.

Ok so this is odd. My mail is working fine now. I don't know why, but for some reason activesync likes my password again.

I guess the only other real problem I'm having is with the text messages freezing up on me when using the back-button to go back to the list after reading a text. It only does this when I'm on either the last unread or next to last unread. I've found I have to hit the end button to keep it from freezing on me after reading the last unread message. If it freezes the only way I can seem to get it to unfreeze is by hitting the end button repeatedly. I think this is more of an issue with winmo since I've had this issue in other roms as well.

I have been using this rom since v2 was put out. was working incredibly, smooth as butter, responsive, no complaints. I had it hooked up to my computer at work while I was in meetings, grabbed it on lunch, and I cant figure out what happened. It is so unresponsive I can barely use it. I'm talking 2 to 3 seconds between any screen action or button presses before I can get any sort of reaction. I have no idea what happened to it. Anyone else experience this or something like this?

well i've been lurking around for months awaiting this rom!!  thanks so much for putting in the time and hard work.

i think you mentioned somewhere about trying this with sense 2.1 which would likely free up some ram?  i wanted to see if you were still considering it.  i have never been a fan of 2.5, and still use 2.1 on my touch pro 2 (though a custom rom with weather on the homepage).

i also saw someone has alluded to being able to use their projector with this rom.  i wanted to confirm that that was still the case?

i'd be very appreciative if you could PM me the password as well, unless you do have a final release coming down the pipe soon.  i'd be happy to wait until then..  thanks again.  really looking forward to getting a good UI on this phone.  mobileSPB was good for a holdover but it just ain cutting it!!

Great work to all that had a helping hand in this! Hope to try it out soon...
