Like some here, i've been flashing my expo by the ton lately and miss 1 feature my last 2 phones had. XDA UC, when cooked in a rom, will auto install any app, reg file, etc from a folder called XDA_UC from the sd card. So after the phone starts up after a hard reset, it will silent install (or more) all your apps and reboot when it's all done. makes adding all your apps easier.

This link is for rom cooks
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=562568

and this is for the standard user (after it's cooked in rom)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=3611692

considering i'm looking around at least 20 minutes just tapping away to install everything, this would cut that time down for myself.

any takers?

I use Dark's roms and it would be sweet if they had XDA_UC cooked in but if you want to implement it youself it's not too bad.  Just install the cab for mortscript first, then the XDA_UC 1.1.0 (i think) cab.  After that, reset the phone and then be patient after it starts up...usually within a few seconds you will get a splash screen saying it is going to customize.

Much easier than manually punching in all email settings + customizations + running thru a ton of cab installs!

Nice find guys. Wish I'd had that when I did the v10g upgrade - took me pretty much an entire weekend to get everything back like it was after that.
