I one-offed a ROM for ninjajim which includes the WM lockscreen but breaks themes and icons in the process. Do not flash this build.

thank you for taking the time to do this.  i tried to put this on last night but unfortunately i could not get data to work with this ROM no matter what i did, so it wasn't usable in the end.  i am now a V3 user like everyone else.  i am quite sad over this, since the lock screen worked perfectly.

i actually put back s2u2 but i've found that it won't replace the standard windows lock via start menu or long end key press.  any tips/registry hacks?

on the plus side, keypad beeps work again (melody and voice do not).  sound and notification changes also perfect as well, WMP perfect, GPS locks are quick, FB integration also working perfectly.

sorry to hear about your kitchen fire  Undecided

Thank you for your condolences Wink

Wish I could help you out with the lockscreen but I've just never, ever used them and thus have no experience in their operation. If it were me, I'd download a copy of build 21907 and trying to drop lockscreen.dll into \Windows, as S2U2 might require the native lockscreen driver. NOTE: Many/most of the time lockscreen.dll will be found as a module, which is a folder with a collection of files that compose the driver itself. You will probably need to "recmod" this folder, meaning you download the a recmod program (try XDA) and simply drag/drop the lockscreen.dll folder onto the recmod.exe. That will produce a .dll file inside the folder which you'll then transfer over. Also, try some diff lockscreen programs as a baseline.

Hey, have you tried setting up fingerprint unlock? My initial testing has been positive.

I am having trouble with app specific rotation. I have turned off the global rotation (i.e., AccelSensor for both SlideOpen and SlideClose set to 0) and I am trying to set up rotation for individual apps, but it is not working and I don't know why. I recently flashed the ExploFlo ROM, which had global rotation set by default. I was able to setup app specific rotation with my previous ROM (Dragonstorm v4). Does anyone know why this is? Has anyone using ExploFlo achieved app specific rotation?

eXpoFlo 2.5 is now available to the public. Please read the caveats and find the download link in the first post.

Yes, I've been using fingerprint unlock and it works well, including showing who's calling when the phone is locked.  The only problem I've had with it is that while syncing to my PC, if it locks, I can't unlock it until I disconnect the USB cable from the PC.

*    HTC Keyboard (Touch Input) kills the camera button's ability to trigger the shutter. No fix for this, just change SIPs when necessary.

FYI - I changed SIPs to fakeSIP, soft reset --> camera button works.  However, when I changed SIP back to HTC Touch Input, the camera button still worked.  So now, I get best of both worlds.

update: nm, spoke too soon. i reset again, and now doesn't work.  please disregard.

sorry for a late reply, but +1, fingerprint lock also works just fine for me.

i've also got S2U2 to work so that it screen locks whenever the backlight comes on or the screen button is pressed, which is almost as good, for anyone who is interested in using it.  i cannot get anything except for fingerprint lock to work on the end key long press.

i have not encountered anything with this rom to make me think i won't be sticking with it permanently.  averaging 35MB with everyday use, bug free.

big thumbs up from this user

SIP is Soft Input Panel; aka your onscreen keyboard.

XDA should have lots of info if you want to dig deeper.

just wanted to say thanks for the great work. i flashed this yesterday and got my personal programs and files back running. so far this is awesome.

my only complaint is that i cannot get the facebook integration to work at all. i get an "input error" "connectino failed" but then i also cannot log into the facebook app either even after downloading and installing the version that facebook directed me to.

No AVRCP Support via Bluetooth?  I hit play/pause, next track, previous track, and the phone sits there.

Odd.

Tried both of these and they're absolutely beautiful and FAST!!  Need my AVRCP though...  lol

Awesome work!!!

EDIT:  Sorry, should have included the build and other info:
AVRCP does not work on either 2.1 v3 nor 2.5 v2 on my Expo.
Under the 'official' 10G rom (bleah), AVRCP works as expected. (Windoze Media sucks out loud tho)  I'd MUCH rather use the AudioManager tab to listen to my stuff but with no AVRCP support it makes it a little problematic.

Any BT gurus out there that might have an idea for a simple fix?  Everything else seems to work fine....  weird....

Nice work on this rom!  I've been using it for about a week now and I do like it (v2.5)!.  Everyone once in a while it needs a reboot but otherwise it's stable and the new layout adds some much appreciated eyecandy.  I wish the "my location worked" though or atlease be able to set a location.  Also the notifications are a bit tough to pick out as well as the other top options.  Too bad it's a ram hog and was discontinued but nice job getting sense on here, never had used it before.  Thanks!

if you are running 2.5 there is no facebook for ram/storage savings.  it works fine in 2.1.  theking spent a long time trying to get my location to work, and it just doesn't.  select a location from the main clock and be happy.  i am pretty sure youtube also works fine on 2.1, no idea about 2.5

no idea about winmo skins.  i would think that that is not expo specific.  also, every one of these q's have been asked and answered before, fyi...
