Guys,
I'm a Chinese user got a 825v from HK recently.I find it disappointing for there are many bugs in it's original rom and qsd8650 work bad on 6.5.So I' m woundering whether someone could cook a 6.1 rom for me,Engliah rom is OK.There is no doubt that 825 will work great on 6.1. I used to have a O2 Vista and a 19981rom can work great on 520mhz Mawell cpu. And I heard 10g rom could be flash into 825v,how to do it?which flasher should i use?could anyone upload a flasher for me?  By the way is there any software that can control 825's flashlight? That LED could be a good torch.

Regards

The 10G rom is an exe file. The flasher is built in. Download it from the link in the first post here:

http://www.lg-expo.com/lg-expo-software-updates/software-update-for-expo-v10g/msg6534/#msg6534

Flashing instructions are here:

http://www.lg-expo.com/lg-expo-rom-development/how-to-flash-your-expoiq/

The 10G flasher is Vista compatible, I've done it myself with an eXpo. If using Vista, follow the instructions for Windows 7. Hope this helps. Good luck and let us know how it goes.

And now for something really different . . .

XP sp3 should work fine, as will Windows 7.

Vista (as per usual) is just a special case when it comes to flashing  Undecided

If you haven't already found it, here is a link to a flashlight program that was created by one of our members.

Feed Back: 10g flashs fluently and works well(flashing speed is quite slow,it took about 7mins).It's the fastest OS on 825v I have ever seen. But here are some troubles
1.Chinese font is not complete. Solution:download and install one
2.Can't display contacts. I backup my original contacts by SPB BACKUP,but when I restored it.I can't see it in OS's original explorer, but spb shell's contacts viewer is available.I don't have any idea about it. Undecided
By the way,the led controler is a legend
