I started a thread on XDA seeing if anyone has any ROM requests?  I was going to post a ROM or two to add some variety.

Anyway, I will probably end up posting them on XDA since this forum doesn't seem to get much traffic any more.

The thread is here....

Wow, so first off thank you for saying what do we want for once instead of saying heres what you get. I would personally love a ROM with all the tweaks and hacks to allow for the best performance, with minimalist memory consumption and little to no extra "crapware" A windows mobile that HAS all the good tweaks, permanent and all the enhancements eg.  chainfires plug-ins. that would be something I personally would love to see, or what about a totally themed ROM? I don't know how easy exactly ROMs are for you but a variety would be absolutely wonderful.

Glad to hear someone is still developing for this great device. Good job, trueg.

Just in case people think the forum is dead, its just a bit slow but there is some progress. Trueg is on his Release 3 of his rom, but the tread is over at XDA.

Check out his Clean and Light 6.5.3 R3

Name about says it all.

Thanks for pointing that out, Etaduck. As you can see, this topic is now sticky so it will be easier to find the link.

One item I have been trying to resolve is how photos are named. I want the photo name to be more intuitive than it is regarding the format that the files are named with. Currently they are named P####_ddmmyy.jpg so when they are sorted by name the dates get mixed up..

Hmm, I haven't seen anything in the registry or anywhere else that would lead me to believe that this can be changed.  I believe it is hard wired into the Camera application.  It is possible to re-name the picture after you take it, but that might be a pain if you plan on taking more than a single picture.
